Maulana Azad Stadium in Jammu is set to host the central Republic Day celebration on January 26, 2024, with the esteemed presence of the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor, who will preside over the event and take the salute.
As a part of their official duty, all officers and officials of the Government and Public Sector Undertakings stationed at Jammu are called upon to attend this significant function.
Heads of Departments and Chief Executives of Public Sector Undertakings are also urged to ensure their participation, along with their subordinate employees.
In a circular dated January 15, 2024, issued by the General Administration Department of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir, various high-ranking officials are notified about the event.
This includes Financial Commissioners, Director General of Police, Principal Secretaries to the Government, and other key figures.
The circular emphasizes the importance of widespread participation, reinforcing the inclusive nature of the Republic Day celebration. All Commissioners, Secretaries to the Government, and Deputy Commissioners are also encouraged to attend.
